This project scooped first prize in the Concept and Architectural Ideas Design Competition for the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) of Malawi. Architects where invited to make proposals for NCIC’s new offices Offices and Exhibition Centres, this also included a block of hostels, classroom blocks and a maintenance workshop. This scheme was developed around a balance between modern methods and traditional methods of construction to achieve an ultra-modern look while trying to minimize the overall cost of the whole development.
